I’ve been missing in action since Christmas, totally up to my eyes in it. Now it’s time to reveal what I’ve been working on, all kinds of new killer material for my as yet untitled debut album. Guess what the first single of 2010 is a hot new song called “My Girl Sharon” I go back to my Punk routes with this track it’s absolutely hilarious a preview will be online in the next couple of weeks, it’s out on May 3rd in the all the usual stores.
Been working on the video for this single and I tell you what, the video don’t dissappoint and is as hilarious as the song itself. If you wanna hear a preview to this eagerly awaited song before anyone else the best thing to do is the join the mailing list.

BBC director Mark Thompson has suggested the closure of 6 music and the cancellation of teen shows Blast! and BBC Switch.
This is bad news for new music, the average listenership for 6 Music is 700,000. This shows a crazy move for BBC. BBC 6 Music were also early supporters of my music, so as a Mister Jack fan why not head on over to this website www.petition.fm and sign the petition to save BBC 6 Music.

Courtney Love vs Lily Allen; You go Lily

After last weeks hilarious fued between Courtney Love and Lily Allen to which Lily stated “I don’t start fights with crazy Old Ladies”. They have both been posting unflattering imagery of each other on Twitter, see left for Lily’s amusing picture of Courtney Love.
This is bad PR for the pair and pretty imature at that, but the youngest of the 2, Lily Allen (aged 26) took the higher ground and tweeted “Sorry, that was mean. Enuff of these juvenile musings, I should never have risen to the bait. Silly Lilly.”
This story made me crack up thought I’d share it with you guys.

Cheryl Cole The Rock Chick

Cheryl Cole the popstar who only last christmas did a Sin City style photoshoot for Q magazine, where she was transformed into a rock n roll heroin. Now after announcing the break up with her husband Chelsea star Ashley Cole, she has all of a sudden been thrown into this years V Festival along side Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Prodigy, Paul Weller and Florence & The machine.
All the signs are showing a new direction for Cheryl, not only was she welcomed as a new member of PRS last year, meaning she has now started putting pen to paper and writing her own songs. Her new look of skin tight leather jeans, leopard print shoes that she has took on to launch her new solo career has rock chick written all over it.
All I know is with this new look, she’s got my vote!
But what do you think of this sudden new direction, a publicity stunt set up by her PR? Her A&R taking too much control? A styilist with a fetish for rock clothing?
