I haven’t been to the Dungeons since I was wee boy and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it’s even better than I remembered it. The actors are great and the ambience is exactly what you’d expect in the dark depths of the London Dungeons. I’m pretty keen on the darker side of history, and that’s exactly what the Dungeons portray. Think Horrible Histories meets Saw.
It’s very different than the old Tooley Street dungeon, but it certainly doesn’t disappoint. With water ride reminiscent of any water ride at amusement parks, only difference is it’s dark and smells a little like sewage. I just wish this water ride could have been longer and wetter. There’s currently a London Dungeon 2 for 1 deal going on, on packs of Kellogg’s cereal, so you have no excuses to have a bit of spooky fun this easter. Take the kids or why not go to London Dungeon Lates for a spooky night out. Whatever you do, don’t get fish and chips from next door. It is by far, the worst fish and chips Mister Jack has ever tasted, blurgh.
